This sword is inspired by a German source of private collection from 1350. The client, practicing 14th/15th century German fencing, wanted the tool suitable to the century and the region to better understand the weapon and its uses. It should be understood that all the long swords of this era have the same characteristics of blade width and point of balance, so you really have a sword which takes you forward at the time of the assault and a very strong presence in the contact of the opponent's blade. The choice of having fine cutting edges empowers the practitioner and obligates him to do everything to preserve his cutting edges, in order to avoid getting a damaged and ineffective weapon.
